Police investigation is underway to establish if there is a linkage in cases where four bodies of women were discovered in Tshwane between June and July 2025. Three burned bodies were found between Watloo and Denneboom train stations (Silverton precinct) while the fourth body was discovered in a shallow grave in Eersterust policing precinct on Wednesday, 31 July 2025.
A task team comprising of seasoned detectives, including crime intelligence, forensic services and crime scene experts, has been established to investigate all four murder cases and to trace the perpetrator/s.
Police are appealing to anyone who might have information that can help in the investigation or assist in the apprehension of the suspect/s to please call the nearest police station or call crime stop on 08600 10111. Information can also be given anonymously via MySAPS App that can be downloaded from any smartphone.
