The Gauteng Traffic Wardens (STT) acted on information about a suspicious house in Auckland Park, believed to be supplying drugs in and around Auckland Park, Melville, and Brixton.
Following an investigation into the property, the officers planned and executed an operation in which they monitored activity at the premises.
The operation led to the arrest of one suspect at the Brixton Police Station, who was found in possession of 384 Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R23 000. The suspect faces an additional charge of bribery after attempting to bribe officers with R1 100.
