A 31-year-old man from the Eastern Cape was apprehended and assaulted by the Mhlasini community in Kwazulu Natal after stealing a goat.
The homeowner and community chased and apprehended him at midnight on Sunday as he fled the enclosure with a male goat over his shoulders. The man was assaulted and questioned about his involvement in recent cattle theft.
