A man was stabbed in an unprovoked attack near Trenance Park – KZN during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
A victim was intoxicated and returning to his residence with three friends when two individuals approached them. Three of his friends abandoned him and fled after the two men confronted and stabbed him once in the back.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene approximately 00:46 and met with the victim. He expressed uncertainty regarding the motive behind the attack, as he was still in possession of his valuables. Nevertheless, he believes he may be acquainted with the suspects.
The victim was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment of his injuries.
