WESTERN CAPE – Khayelitsha Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit (FCS) appeal to the public to assist with the tracing and safe return of a mother and child duo who was reported as missing by the child’s grandmother with whom they reside at Site B in Khayelitsha.
Reports suggest that the mother, Thandokazi Maxongo and her 4-year-old boy-child went to attend an unknown church on Sunday morning, 31 August 2025, but never returned back home. Efforts by SAPS to trace them had been unsuccessful.
