Pedestrian Vehicle Accident

Location: Watermeyer Street near Pretoria Street
PVES First Responders rushed to assist a 34-year-old male who was struck by a car while walking home from work. The patient sustained lacerations, abrasions, and musculoskeletal injuries and was in too much pain to move.
Advanced and Intermediate Life Support PVES medics fully examined the patient, initiated IV analgesia, and dressed the wounds. PVES medics provided care for over 90 minutes until a GPG ambulance arrived to transport the patient.
