A suspect believed to be connected to a series of thefts was apprehended following the theft of boundary wall lights from a home on Dianthus Road in Brindhaven – KZN today (Monday).
The incident occurred when the homeowner observed a male removing lights from the boundary wall of the property. The homeowner pursued the male on foot and managed to apprehend him on Rosemary Drive in Brindhaven – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and identified the suspect as a known drug user who is believed to be linked to a spate of thefts.
The male was handed over to the Verulam SAPS.
