A PVES practitioner was contacted by a member of the public regarding a patient reportedly experiencing an asthmatic episode. Upon arrival at the scene, it was established that the patient had been exposed to the discharge of a powder fire extinguisher that had been used on his vehicle.
The patient was administered B2 medication and showed significant improvement shortly thereafter. Friends accompanying the patient arranged to transport him privately to a clinic closer to his residence for further assessment
