The body of an unidentified male was discovered along Stonebridge Drive near a stream adjacent to a residential property earlier today.
KZN VIP Emergency Services were flagged down by concerned homeowners who reported seeing a body floating in the stream just below the roadway.
Upon assessment, the victim showed no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on scene. The identity of the deceased cannot be confirmed at this stage. SAPS and all other necessary emergency services were notified and attended the scene.
SAPS Search and Rescue officials recovered the body, which has since been transported to a local mortuary for further investigation.
