On Thursday afternoon, our Centurion crew responded to a medical emergency at a residential home in Valhalla.
Upon arrival, the crew found a male patient in his forties who had been stung by a bee and was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. The patient presented with difficulty breathing and generalized swelling of the face and neck.
Our crew rapidly assessed and treated the patient, successfully stabilising him on scene. He was thereafter transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition by Gauteng Emergency Medical Services.
We extend our thanks to Afrique Du Sud K9 Security Services Office , Emer-G-Med (Pty) Ltd and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services for their assistance and teamwork on scene.
