Members attached to the Kimberley Task Team arrested two suspects for possession of suspected stolen property linked to a business burglary, that allegedly occurred on 16 May 2026.
The members were conducting crime prevention duties when they followed up on information regarding property reportedly stolen from a local business premises.
Their investigation led to the arrest of the two male suspects, aged 30 and 35, who were reportedly found in possession of three Ford Ranger tyres and a microwave oven with an estimated value of R25 000.
They are expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon.
The Acting Station Commander of Kimberley SAPS, Colonel Keamogetse Makobo, applauded the members for their swift response, dedication, and diligent execution of their duties.
