Very wet conditions have left one female seriously injured after five vehicles collided on the R102 between Stonebridge Drive and the Glenn Anil Robots this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics received the call at around 18h30 and when they arrived at the scene they found the wreckages and accident debris obstructing the roadway, the seriously injured female was still seated in the vehicle.
After the paramedics stabilised the patient on scene they transported her by ambulance to an area hospital for the care that they required.
