A man believed to be in his thirties was killed when he was struck by a light motor vehicle on the N2 north bound after the Queen Nandi Drive bridge in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man laying in the centre lane. He had already succumbed to extensive traumatic injuries and sadly there was nothing they could do for him. He was declared dead on arrival.
The scene was handed over to the South African Police Services and is under investigation.
