The South African Police Service in Senwabarwana, Capricorn District has activated a massive manhunt for five business robbery suspects following an incident that happened in the early hours of Wednesday 28 May 2025 at about 00:45.
Police were notified about a business robbery incident at a local Primary school in Ga-Marais village and rushed to the scene. On their arrival, they found two victims employed as security officials at the premises.
According to information about five male suspects overpowered the security and locked them inside the classroom
Reports suggest that the suspects went to the office of the Principal, forced entry, broke a safe, took a Tablet, Laptops and undisclosed amount of money belonging to the school. They also took two cellphones belonging to the two security officials and fled the scene.
A manhunt for the unknown suspects has been launched and anyone with information that can assist with their arrest is requested to contact the Investigating Officer Sergeant Fredy Manyane on 082 740 993, 082 414 6634 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest police station or MySAPSApp.
