KZNVIP Tactical Units successfully recovered a hijacked vehicle in the Newlands West area, shortly after it was Hijacked in Kwamashu, on 17 September 2025.
Just after 20h20PM, KZNVIP Control Centre received information of a hijacking that took place on Sajabula Road, K-Section, Kwamashu, where armed suspects stole a white Toyota Hilux. The vehicle was tracked to the Newlands West area and available KZNVIP Tactical Units Officers were immediately dispatched.
Upon arrival, KZNVIP Tactical Officers together with Tracking Agents located and recovered the vehicle, which had been abandoned by the suspects moments before. SAPS was notified of the incident.
