As part of #WomensMonth activities, women in uniform from various law enforcement and security agencies embarked on a multi-disciplinary initiative in Mothibistad on Wednesday, 20 August 2025.
The programme commenced at Rekgaratlhile Middle School, where approximately 17 classrooms were searched during a school safety inspection. Thereafter, awareness sessions were held.
The initiative continued with a roadblock on the N14 where a total of 205 motor vehicles were stopped and searched, while 301 individuals were checked. The team further distributed 100 safety and awareness pamphlets and issued 10 traffic fines.
In addition, 13 illegal immigrants were apprehended.
