POTCHEFSTROOM – The police in Lichtenburg request the community’s assistance in locating a missing man, Letshabang Lazarus Sekete (68), who is residing in Garsfontein Village in Bakerville, near Lichtenburg. He was last seen by his son at a neighbour’s wedding on Saturday, 4 October 2025 at about 20:00.
According to information received, he has dementia and was wearing brown jeans, a brown long-sleeve shirt, a yellow cap and brown formal shoes. He is dark in complexion with a tall and slim built body, a bald head, white moustache and beard and brown eyes.
A search was conducted, extensive investigations were done and all leads were followed up with no success.
