A salon operating behind a residence in Phase 7, Waterloo – KZN, was targeted in an armed robbery yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call from a member of the public reporting the incident. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the location at 18:12, where the salon owner explained that four suspects entered the premises at 16:00.
One of the males produced a firearm and threatened the four women inside the salon. The victims were ordered to hand over their mobile phones and cash. The suspects fled the scene in a Toyota Etios. The registration number was not recorded.
