Between Monday 09 June and Sunday 15 June 2025, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Officers, arrested five (5) suspects in the Kempton Park, Alberton, Vosloorus, Daveyton and Springs areas.
Following on information about individuals selling illegal substances in the community, Officers were able to arrested the suspects in possession of Mandrax tablets, Crystal Meth, Rock, and Cannabis (dagga), all estimated at a total value of R10 350 and a total cash of R150.
The suspects between the ages of twenty-three (23) and fifty (50) were arrested and taken to their respective police stations, facing charges of possession of illegal substances. They are expected to appear at a Magistrate’s Court soon.
