These incidents have caused significant distress within the business community, prompting heightened concern over the safety of families and the wellbeing of local enterprises.
Community members, business owners, and civil society organisations have gathered outside the court to voice their frustration with the ongoing threats faced by entrepreneurs in the region and to call for stronger measures to combat criminal networks involved in intimidation and extortion.
Law enforcement authorities have indicated that investigations are ongoing and additional charges may follow as more victims come forward.
