Members of Empire Protection Service, received updates from Tracking agents @Netstar, for a hijacked Ford Ranger (Double Cab/White/ With canopy) in the Rydalvale/Unit 9 area of Phoenix in KZN.
Members of Empire protection service were dispatched, upon arrival of tracking agents the vehicle was unable to be located, a Netstar helicopter was dispatched to assist in the search and signals from the vehicles tracking unit was picked up in the Redfern area of Phoenix_KZN.
Members promptly proceeded to the vicinity, whilst using the signal received and conducting a search in the area the vehicle was successfully located abandoned outside a local Superette with the keys in the ignition.
SAPS was notified via Phoenix OCC and upon contact with the owner a case was desired. The vehicle was taken to a nearby police station to be booked into the SAP13 for further investigation.
