Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services and a private ambulance service have responded to an incident at a factory in Escourt in Northern KZN.
It appears if a boiler may have exploded at the factory just after 11h00 this morning. The paramedics who responded to the factory treated seven patients for injuries, which ranged from severe to minor, which they sustained during the incident. The patients were treated on scene before being transported through to Estcourt hospital for continued medical care.
The exact details regarding the incident and exactly what transported is being investigated by officials.
