An armed robbery occurred at a residence on Starr Street in Temple Valley – KZN at approximately 22:53 yesterday (Thursday).
According to the couple involved, six (6) suspects armed with rifles approached them at their home. The female victim reported that she had exited her residence to use the outside toilet when the suspects confronted her and demanded their mobile phones.
The suspects stole the following items:
• 1 × iPhone 6
• 2 × Cellphones (unconfirmed models)
• Forced the victims to complete a R2000 cash send transaction
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 22:53. The suspects had already fled in an unknown direction, and it is unclear whether they escaped on foot or in a vehicle.
There were no reported injuries.
