KZNVIP responded to a distressing scene after community members in Yorkham, Phoenix, discovered a foetus inside a bin bag, this afternoon, 3 December 2025.
According to initial reports, residents noticed the suspicious bag and immediately contacted KZNVIP for assistance.
Response officers arrived promptly and secured the scene before notifying the South African Police Service.
The area was cordoned off while SAPS Phoenix conducted preliminary investigations.
KZNVIP urges anyone with information related to this matter to come forward.
