A hijacking involving gunfire occurred on Gopalall Hurbans Road in the Tongaat CBD – KZN yesterday afternoon (Saturday), resulting in the theft of a white Toyota Auris.
The incident took place at approximately 21:00. Three armed suspects confronted the driver and fired two shots before forcibly removing him from the vehicle. The gunmen then sped off in the car.
The stolen Toyota Auris, registration CY 03 FB-ZN, can be identified by several distinguishing features, including missing mirror covers, a broken left rear tail light, and damage to the right side of the rear bumper.
