At approximately 19:06 (Monday), Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call of a Black Mamba inside a room at a residence in Magwaveni, Tongaat – KZN.
Reaction Officer Jordan Tarr was dispatched to the property. Upon arrival, the homeowner informed the Officer that the snake had been seen under a dressing table inside the house.
A search was conducted inside the bedroom, during which the highly venomous snake measuring approximately 2.5 metres in length was located.
The reptile was successfully and safely removed from the residence without injury.
