An armed robbery occurred opposite a clinic in Redcliffe – KZN at approximately 05:26 this morning (Wednesday).
A 40-year-old female informed members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) that she was standing outside the medical facility waiting for it to open when she was approached by one (1) male suspect. The suspect allegedly produced a knife and robbed her of her handbag before fleeing into a bush.
The stolen items included:
• Samsung A13 cellphone
• Approximately R250 cash
• Identity document
• House keys
Reaction Officers conducted a patrol of the vicinity; however, the suspect could not be located.
