Two individuals sustained serious injuries following a head on collision on the Phoenix Highway near Stonebridge Drive on Tuesday evening
It is believed that one of the drivers lost control of the vehicle and veered into oncoming traffic, resulting in the collision. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain subject to investigation.
Upon arrival, medics assessed and stabilized both critically injured patients before they were transported to a medical facility by EMRS for further advanced care.
All emergency services were in attendance, working together to ensure the scene was secured and patients received urgent medical treatment.
