The police in Mpumalanga, including K9 Unit, local security company and Secunda DPCI, conducted an intelligence-driven operation on 20 March 2026, which led to the successful arrest of a suspect for dealing in drugs and dagga at Sakhile, Standerton.
The astute members followed information received regarding drug dealing activities in the area, during the operation members found the suspect in possession of more than six hundred and seventy (670) full tablets of mandrax and more than four thousand (4000) sachets of dagga. The vehicle used in the commission of crime was also seized.
The suspect has been charged with dealing in drugs and dagga. He is expected to appear before the Standerton Magistrate’s Court soon.
