The body of an unidentified male was discovered near the railway line off Vincent Dickenson Road in Canelands – KZN today (Monday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out after passersby discovered the body near a sugarcane field and contacted the Operations Centre.
Reaction Officers arrived on scene and found the deceased lying on his right side. He was dressed in blue, black and white checkered boxer shorts and a powder blue t-shirt that was partially worn on one (1) arm, leaving part of his upper body exposed. The man sustained a broken left leg and a broken right arm.
The cause of death has not been established at this stage.
