A stolen Nissan NP200 was successfully recovered after being stolen from the Newlands East area on Monday evening.
KZN VIP members worked alongside tracking agents, following up on information which led to the recovery of the vehicle in the Ntuzuma area. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found abandoned and partially stripped.
It is believed that an unconfirmed number of suspects were involved in the theft before fleeing the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
SAPS were notified and The vehicle was subsequently processed and handed over for further investigation.
No arrests have been made at this stage, KZN VIP commends all members and stakeholders involved in the operation for their swift response and dedication in recovering the vehicle.
