An alert generated through the Vumacam LPR network assisted Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department – JMPD TRU, supported by Rosebank South African Police Service (SAPS) and private security, in locating a vehicle linked to a murder investigation.
The operation resulted in the successful apprehension of a wanted suspect with an active warrant of arrest, who was handed over to the Investigating Officer for further legal proceedings.
