Mi7 National Group is currently monitoring a protest action taking place in the Pietermaritzburg CBD, specifically in the vicinity of East Street and Pietermaritz Street.
Approximately 500 protesters are currently gathered in the area, resulting in disruptions to traffic flow and movement within the CBD.
⚠️ Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area where possible and make use of alternative routes.
