The Provincial #SearchandRescue Unit has retrieved the body of a 25-year-old male who reportedly drowned in the Vaal River on Thursday, 18 June 2026, in Douglas.
The body was retrieved on Friday, 26 June 2026, at approximately 12:00.
The bodies of all six individuals who are believed to have drowned have now been retrieved.
Investigations are continuing.
