SHOOTING INCIDENT!
Just after 12:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit team received a call for assistance on the R21 highway in the Groenkloof area of Pretoria after 2 suspected armed robbers were injured while attempting to flee from SAPS and Private Security. On arrival we found both patients in SAPS custody with both patients sustaining gunshot wounds, the patients were stabilized on scene before being transported under SAPS guard. A third suspect was also arrested by SAPS and Private security services. The scene was controlled by SAPS for investigation.
