The 10th of September is World Suicide Prevention Day. To commemorate this important day in the Mental Health calendar, SADAG is hosting a Facebook Friday Live Video Q&A Session this Friday, 10th of September from 1pm – 2pm.
Clinical Psychologist, Nkateko Ndala – Magoro and Psychiatrist, Dr Kobus Roux Facebook will be answering questions on recognising the warning signs and symptoms of Suicide, how to get help and coping with the loss of a loved one. Great opportunity to ask experts for free help, guidance and information.
Suicide is a problem within the South African context, but it is a problem that can be overcome – not by the single individual considering suicide, but by a concerted effort between that person, their friends and family, and their community as a whole.

If you’d like to ask your questions anonymously, email them to [email protected] and we’ll post it on your behalf. Then, just watch the chat for answers.
