Earlier this morning, PVES members responded to a single-vehicle collision in the highway median on the N4, just before the Simon Vermooten bridge.
Three patients were assessed on scene.
One patient was transported by Netcare911,
Two patients were transported by Life Care EMS.
Upon arrival, PVES treated one patient with a laceration to the chest that was actively bleeding. A pressure dressing was applied to control the bleeding before the patient was handed over for further care.
