Public assistance is required to locate 31-year-old Amos Batirai Junior, a Zimbabwean national residing on Centery Road, Oceanview in KwaDukuza – KZN.
Batirai, a self-employed businessman, travelled to Johannesburg – Gauteng, to visit a client and arrived there by bus on Saturday, 08 November 2025. He owns a solar panel installation business.
He intended to return to Durban – KZN with a friend who was driving down on Friday night, 14 November 2025.
Batirai last made contact with his spouse at approximately 22:30, informing her that they were in Alexandra – Gauteng prior to departing. Shortly thereafter, Batirai’s cellphone was switched off, and they have not been reachable since. They were travelling in a blue Volkswagen Polo Vivo, registration number unknown.
