A 15 year old teenager was robbed of his cellphone during an armed robbery in the Old Phase area of Trenance Park – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to reports of a robbery and interviewed the victim on scene.
The teenager reported that he was waiting for his sister at a tuck shop on Willow Close when he was approached by two (2) male suspects armed with knives. The suspects threatened him before forcibly taking his Samsung A05 cellphone.
During the incident, the victim was assaulted and sustained a bruise to his left shoulder after being cut with a knife.
The suspects fled into nearby bushes and were not located.
