A silver Volkswagen Polo was reportedly stolen in Rosebank and later tracked to Jabulani Flats in Soweto.
The vehicle was allegedly recovered burnt and stripped shortly after the incident – a growing trend linked to syndicates involved in vehicle theft, stripping, and illegal parts distribution.
Motorists are urged to remain vigilant:
