PVES members responded to a medical incident in Sinoville involving a female patient who had reportedly sustained an injury after a possible medication-related event.
Upon arrival, the patient was found to have sustained a head injury, including a laceration to the scalp, following a fall. A full assessment was conducted, and the patient’s vital signs were found to be stable.
Due to the mechanism of injury and the potential for significant head trauma, ambulance services were requested for further management. Following reassessment and the initiation of intravenous fluid therapy, the patient was transported to the nearest medical facility for further evaluation, including diagnostic imaging.
