An early morning drug operation led to the arrest of a 28-year-old male for dealing in drugs and the seizure of dagga with an estimated street value of R20 000.00.
On Saturday, 18 July 2026, at approximately 07:30, members of Kakamas SAPS swiftly operationalised information received regarding suspected drug dealing at a premises in Langverwaght.
During the search of the premises, police recovered several packets of dagga. The suspect was immediately arrested and charged with dealing in drugs.
The ZF Mgcawu District Commissioner, Major General Monica Sebili, commended the members for their swift response and commitment to disrupting the illegal drug trade in the area.
