A man is in a critical condition after he was struck several times by a sharp object while he tried to enter his house in Inanda early this morning. Exact detail to the cause of the attack and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the floor with life threatening injuries. After he was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilized on a trauma board they airlifted the patient to the Nkosi Albert Luthuli hospital for the care that he required.
