A Home invasion occurred on Lenham Drive, Phoenix, earlier this morning, 29 August 2025. Just after 08h10 AM, KZNVIP Control Centre received reports of the incident and immediately dispatched Response Officers to the scene.
Upon arrival, KZNVIP officers interviewed the complainant, who reported that a male suspect, described as wearing a grey shirt and black trackpants, entered the home and armed himself with a knife taken from the kitchen. The suspect threatened the homeowner and fled with an undisclosed amount of valuables.
The suspect then allegedly proceeded to a second property in Lenham Drive, where he attempted to break in. He was disturbed by the occupants and fled in the direction of Allingham.
KZNVIP Officers conducted extensive patrols in the area, however no signs of the suspect were found.
SAPS Phoenix was informed and is attending to the matter.
