A high-end Momsen mountain bike, valued at approximately R59,000, was stolen on Thursday, 6 November 2025, at approximately 14:00 from a mall taxi rank in Umhlanga – KZN.
According to the bike’s owner, the theft occurred while they were shopping at a nearby mall. Eyewitnesses indicate that the suspect, known in the area, seized the opportunity to steal the bike.
The stolen bicycle can be identified by distinctive features, including a yellow brand name sticker positioned near the pedals and two noticeable scratches located at the ends of the handlebars.
These unique markers could aid in the bike’s recovery.
