On Wednesday, 26/11/2025 at 12h15 a silver Mercedes with a sunroof and reg no ######GP was wanted for attempted house break-in with Springs cas ###/11/2025 triggered a LPR camera of Sekuriteit Sonder Grense in Arconpark Various units started to look for the vehicle.
Later the silver Mercedes triggered another LPR camera into 3 Rivers units were placed on strategic locations to look for the vehicle at 13h27 the vehicle was spotted by the crossing at Dick Fourie stadium, corner Kliprivier and Houtkop road when the suspects noticed a vehicle of Sekuriteit Sonder Grense they turned around and went back on Klipriver drive towards Ringroad Risiville where they turned left on Brockett str, passing Sedibeng K9 vehicle with A high-speed units gave chase, and the suspect collided with an innocent civilian on the corner of Brockett and Risi ave.
The suspects still tried to drive away but eventually 2 suspects jumped out from the vehicle and resulting in there vehicle ran down into the trench whereby another 2 suspects jumped out from the vehicle and tried to flee.
The last 2 suspects were apprehended, and by this time several other units was ons scene and a clear description of the first 2 suspects was relayed multiple units scouted the surrounding areas in the direction that the suspects fled to.
After some time 1 of the 2 suspects was located with the help of Sekuriteit Sonder Grense drone unit and was apprehended as units still carried on searching for the last suspect he was also located in Henry str in a property not far from the scene where he was hiding and apprehended.
In the vehicle there was house-breaking implements and suspected stolen property, electronic devices a safe laptop air fryer etc.
While still busy on the scene a WhatsApp message was circulated on community WhatsApp groups of a house robbery occurred in Kliprivier Drive where the same vehicle and reg no was involved it was then established that the property belongs to the owner where the house robbery occurred.
All necessary role players were summoned to attend the scene.
All suspects were arrested and taken to Vereeniging SAPS and all recovered goods and house-breaking implements were booked into the Vereeniging Saps 13 suspects’ vehicle Silver Mercedes with reg no ######GP were booked in by Vereeniging VSS.
One suspect is out on parole for house robbery
