A 1.2-metre Mozambican Spitting Cobra was safely captured at a residential property on Conifer Drive in Tongaat – KZN, after the snake was spotted sheltering beneath an unused dog kennel this afternoon (Thursday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Area Manager Nkosinathi Ndaba responded to the request for assistance. Upon arrival, the highly venomous snake was positively identified, safely contained, and captured without incident.
