Yesterday morning, the Mi7 Surveillance Net flagged a vehicle on Otto’s Bluff. The vehicle had been reported stolen and was still being sought by the police.
The system immediately alerted Mi7 Reaction Officers already patrolling the area. Within minutes, they had sight of the vehicle travelling along Lincoln Road.
The vehicle was intercepted and brought to a stop. The driver claimed that the vehicle belonged to a relative, but further investigation revealed otherwise. Contact was made with the complainant on the case, who confirmed that he did not know the driver.
The driver was placed under police arrest and the vehicle impounded.
