The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) K9 Unit arrested a male suspect for possession of and dealing in drugs on Sunday, 12 April 2026 in Villieria.
The arrest was the result of a coordinated intelligence-led operation. Following information regarding suspicious drug-related activities in the area, TMPD K9 members acted swiftly to track and intercept the suspect.
The individual, identified as a well-known drug dealer operating within Villieria and surrounding suburbs, was found in possession of drugs including Mandrax, Heroin and Crystal Meth.
The suspect has been detained at the local police station and faces charges of possession and dealing in drugs. He is expected to appear in court soon.
