On Sunday morning, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call at 08:32 to investigate an abandoned vehicle in the vicinity of the DSW Dumpsite in Buffelsdraai – KZN.
Reaction Officers found a white Nissan NP200 that had been involved in a collision upon investigation. According to witnesses, the vehicle was abandoned following the accident at approximately 01:30 am.
While on the scene, the vehicle’s occupants returned, reporting that the vehicle had veered off the road, resulting in the loss of the keys while exiting the vehicle. They opted to return home, locate the spare keys, and then return to the scene.
The ownership of the vehicle was subsequently verified by Reaction Officers.
